Trusted local pickThat’s right, it takes dedication, knowledge and some serious padding power in order to ride and conquer waves. It’s one of the most satisfying and addicting feelings out there, going down a liquid hill of water speeding towards adrenaline.
During this class, you will learn everything there is to catching waves and more. This will help you to build a solid foundation and avoid developing bad habits which are very common nowadays. You will get constant feedback from your instructor to help you progress faster and of course enjoy the beautiful day out there in the sunny and clear Caribbean waters. Endurance is important, because you’ll do over a 1000x paddles or more during this session.
Our surf spot Playa Kanoa, has a sandy lagoon which offers an easy entry and exit point which is also an excellent place to safely train basic techniques and safety before paddling out into the line-up. The north coast of Curaçao consists mostly of razor-sharp rocks, so it’s important to follow all safety instructions strictly before we head out. This way we can have some fun while always being safe.
